Tarkulwa Krishak Samriddhi Producer Company Limited is located in Deoria, in a small place called Kamdhhnewa. Our company address is at Shatrughan’s place. We are just a bunch of farmers from around Tarkulwa who decided to stop working entirely on our own. We figured out that if we group together, we might have a better chance of getting things done and not getting cheated. Farming in Deoria has its ups and downs. Sometimes the floods come and wash everything away, or the sun is too hot for weeks on end. We grow sugarcane, rice, and wheat mostly, just like our fathers did. This company is just a name on a paper so we can do business properly with the government and the big buyers. In reality, we are just neighbors. We don't have an office with a receptionist or fancy computers. If you want to talk to us, you'll probably have to wait until we're done in the fields for the day. We aren't trying to sell you anything fancy or make huge promises. We just want to make sure the people who actually grow the food get to keep some of the profit for once. It’s hard work and the hands get dirty every day, but it’s what we know. We aren't experts in business, but we know how to farm. We’re learning the paperwork side of things as we go along. It's a slow process, but we are sticking together to make it work.
