My name is Ravi and I run this travel thing from Shivala. The address is B-3/26-A. Shivala is a nice part of Varanasi, a bit different from the main chaos of Godowlia but still very busy in its own way. I have been living here all my life. I started this because I know the city like the back of my hand. I don't like those big tours where they just rush you around from one place to another. I try to show people the real Banaras, the small lanes and the hidden temples that tourists often miss. My office is just a small room with a desk and some chairs. It is nothing special to look at. I spend a lot of time on the phone talking to drivers or checking on how the guests are doing. Sometimes people want to see the sunrise on the boat. I have to wake up very early to make sure everything is ready for them. It is a lot of work and sometimes things go wrong. A tire gets flat or a driver gets sick suddenly. I just try to fix it as fast as I can. I do not use any fancy language to sell what I do. I just tell people what I know about my city. Varanasi can be overwhelming for people who are not from here. I try to make it a bit easier for them.
