Prem Chhetri

My name is Prem Chhetri and I run this small place in Bulanaia. It is right near the Bank of Maharashtra, if you know where that is in the city. Varanasi is a place where everyone is always in a hurry but also standing still. I have been at this address, Ck-59/15, for quite some time now. It is not a big office or anything fancy like you see in the papers. Just a room where I get my work done. People come by for different things. Sometimes they just need directions. The lanes here are very narrow and easy to get lost in. I try to help out whoever walks in through the door. It gets noisy with the bikes passing by all day. I usually have the fan running because it gets so stuffy in the afternoons. I do not have a big team or fancy computers. It is just me mostly. I grew up in these streets so I know many people around the neighborhood. The neighbors are good people. We share tea and talk about the daily news. If you are looking for me, just ask anyone near the bank. Most people know the spot. Life in Varanasi is slow in some ways and fast in others. I just keep things moving here. I do not use any flashy signs. Just a simple board. It is a humble setup. I like working here in the heart of the old city.
