Prayag Bricks

Start with the address. It's over at Orderly Bazar, specifically S-4/32, A-1. We spend most of our days here dealing with bricks. It’s a bit of a dusty job, really. People stop by when they’re building something nearby. The name Prayag Bricks is what’s on the sign. Most mornings start early because the sun gets hot later on. We have stacks of them everywhere. It isn't a fancy place. Just a lot of red and brown blocks piled up. Sometimes the trucks have trouble navigating the turn near the bazar. We keep track of what goes out and what comes in. It's just local work. Nothing special. If you walk past S-4/32, A-1, you’ll see us there. The bricks are heavy, and the work is hard on the hands. We’ve been at this spot in Orderly Bazar for a while now. Some days are busier than others depending on the weather. If it rains, things slow down a lot. We just wait for the mud to dry. Prayag Bricks is basically just a yard and some sheds. It’s what we do every day. There’s always someone around to help load things up. It’s quiet in the evenings once the last truck leaves. We close up and go home, then do it all again. It’s a simple routine. We know the neighbors. They know us. Just a brick yard in the middle of everything.
