Prabhat Bricks

We are located right on Rameshwar Road in the Chakka area of Harahua. It is quite easy to spot us because we are near the Kishori Lal Jalan School. You can often hear the kids playing or the school bell ringing while we are working at the kiln. The road gets pretty busy in the mornings and afternoons with all the parents and buses. Our yard is usually a mess of red earth and stacked bricks. We spend our days watching the fire and making sure the rows are straight. It is honest work, but it sure is tiring. The dust from the road mixes with the smoke from the chimney. We have been operating here for a few years now. Most of the guys working here live nearby in Harahua. We start early to beat the heat, but even then, the sun is tough on everyone. When it rains, the whole place turns into a big mud pit and we have to wait for things to dry out before we can do much. We don't have any big corporate ideas. We just make bricks and sell them to whoever shows up. Sometimes we run out of stock and people have to wait, which they don't always like. But that is how it goes with this kind of work. We just do what we can and hope the weather stays clear for the next batch.
