Being down here at D5/113 in Meerghat means we are pretty much in the thick of things every single day. Praveens Global Export Agency isn't a big flashy office with lots of employees in suits. It’s mostly just a couple of rooms filled with boxes, tape, and stacks of shipping manifests. The stairs in this part of Meerghat are quite narrow, so we have to be really careful when we’re moving stuff in and out. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze sometimes, especially when a large shipment arrives and we have to find space for it. We spend a lot of our time double-checking labels and making sure the addresses are written clearly. Meerghat has that old neighborhood feel where everyone knows what everyone else is doing. We’ve been operating out of this same spot for a lot of years now. We don’t have glass walls or air conditioning that works all the time. Sometimes the ceiling fan makes a loud clicking noise, but we just ignore it and keep working. Our day is mostly about waiting for trucks to arrive and talking to the drivers about their routes. Some days are very slow and we just sit around drinking tea, then suddenly everything happens at once and we’re rushing. We don’t do any big marketing or have a fancy logo. If you need us, you just come to Meerghat and look for our door. It is what it is.
