Piccaso Seeds Private Limited is over in Tiwaripur, Varanasi. We are set up at Kohinoor Sidsmagarhu, care of Sudhir Thakur. We’ve been involved in the seed business for quite some time now. It’s a busy little operation we have here. Varanasi is always crowded, and our spot in Tiwaripur gets its fair share of noise and traffic. The office is mostly just a place for us to keep our records and store some of the bags. It’s not the kind of place with a big reception desk or air conditioning in every room. We spend a lot of our day talking to farmers who come in looking for advice or specific types of seeds. We try to be helpful, but we don't have all the answers. Sometimes a batch of seeds doesn't perform as well as we hoped, and we have to deal with that. It’s a lot of manual labor, moving heavy sacks and making sure everything is labeled right. We don't use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. We just sell seeds and try to be honest about what people can expect. Sudhir is usually around if anyone has questions. It’s a simple, straightforward business that keeps us on our toes every day. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and moving stuff around in the heat, but we’ve been in this part of Uttar Pradesh for a while now. We know the local soil and what usually grows best in these conditions.
