Mangalam Tours & Travels

Mangalam Tours & Travels is right by Assi Ghat, inside the Ganga Math building. If you know the Assi area, you know how busy it gets with all the students and travelers. We are right in the middle of it. The office isn't very big, but it is a good place to sit and escape the sun for a bit. We spend our days mostly organizing cars for people who want to see the temples or head out to Sarnath. Since we are so close to the ghat, we get a lot of people just walking in after their morning boat ride. It is a nice spot to work, even if it gets a bit noisy with the bells and the music from the cafes nearby. We aren't a corporate office with uniforms or anything like that. We just wear our regular clothes and talk to people like neighbors. Sometimes we have tea together while looking at flight options. The internet can be temperamental in this part of town, so we sometimes have to ask people to come back in ten minutes. Most people don't mind. We've been at Ganga Math for a while now and we know the area like the back of our hand. It is a simple life here, just helping folks get their tickets and rides sorted so they can enjoy their time in Varanasi. We don't do any big marketing, people just hear about us from their guest houses or by seeing our sign as they walk to the river.
