Mahadeo Tour & Travels

This is our small travel desk in the Godowlia area. We are located at 36/4, near the August Kunda area. If you see the Tara Tent house, we are right nearby. Varanasi is a tough city to drive in, so we provide cars and drivers for people who want to see the temples. We aren't a big company with a huge fleet of cars. We have a few reliable vehicles and drivers who know the roads well. The streets here are so tight that you really need someone local who knows the turns. We spend most of our day answering questions about train timings or the best time to go down to the river. Sometimes the phone rings non-stop and other times it is quiet. We sit here and watch the rickshaws go by all afternoon. It is a lot of dust and noise, but it is home for us. We try to give fair prices to everyone who comes in. No fancy brochures or anything, just plain talk about the routes. If the car is going to be late because of a traffic jam, we tell you clearly. No point lying about it because the traffic is visible to everyone. The weather in Varanasi can be really unpredictable too. Rain floods the streets very fast. We have been at this spot for some years. It is a simple business. We take care of the cars and hope for good days.
