Maa Vindhyavashini Tour & Travel is located over by the railway crossing in Mandaudih. We are right near the Sabzimandi, so in the mornings, it's very busy with all the vegetable sellers and people buying their groceries for the day. You can smell the fresh produce and hear the trains going by all the time. It’s a very local part of Varanasi. Our shop is where we manage our cars and bookings. We don't have a lot of bells and whistles here. It is mostly us on the phone or writing things down in our old registers. People come to us when they need a reliable way to get around the city or if they have a family function and need a bigger vehicle. We know these roads like the back of our hand, including all the shortcuts to avoid the train gates when they are closed. It’s a practical business. We don't do a lot of advertising because everyone around the market knows who we are. We just try to be fair and show up when we say we will. The office is a bit small and can get dusty with the road right there, but we keep it functional. If you’re coming from the station side, just head towards the market. We’re right there in the middle of the bustle. It’s not a quiet job, but it’s what we do for a living.
