Down here in Shankarpur Laxmanpur, things move a bit slower than in the big cities. We set up this company at Jagmohan Verma’s place because we needed a central spot to organize our farming work. It’s mostly just a bunch of neighbors working together. We deal with all sorts of crops depending on what the season brings us. Some days it's hectic with trucks coming in and out, and other days it’s just quiet planning. We aren't professional writers or business executives, so we don't have a big fancy office. It’s more like a home office where people drop by to chat about the harvest. We focus on getting things done rather than talking about it. Being in Laxmanpur means we know the soil and the people around here quite well. We started this because we saw that working as a group was the only way to keep our heads above water. You’ll often find us sorting through bags or checking on the equipment. It isn't always pretty, and sometimes we get behind on the paperwork, but the farming side of things stays on track. We just want to do right by the local farmers who joined up with us. It’s a lot of long hours and getting our hands dirty, but that is the life we chose. We’re just regular people trying to build something that lasts for our families here in the village.
