Khair Shriradhe Farmer Producer Company Limited

We started this little company because a bunch of us in the Khair area of Aligarh needed a better way to handle our crops. My name is one of the folks here, and we usually meet up around Mour village, specifically at Uday Ram Sharma’s place where we keep our paperwork. It is not a big fancy office. Just a room with some chairs and a desk where we talk about the harvest. We are all neighbors from around the Mour and Khair region. Most of us have been farming these lands for years, just like our fathers did before us. We decided to call it Khair Shriradhe Farmer Producer Company Limited because it felt right for our local community. Living in Aligarh, the weather dictates everything we do day in and day out. Sometimes the rain is good, and sometimes it is not, so having this group helps us manage things a bit better when times get tough or prices aren't fair. We don’t have a marketing team or people in suits. It is just local farmers talking about seeds, fertilizers, and where to sell what we grow. If you come by the village, you will probably see us out in the fields most days. We are just trying to keep the farming tradition going while making sure we can pay the bills. It is hard work, but being part of this group makes it feel a little less lonely. That is basically who we are, just people from the village working together.
