Joshi Tours & Travels

Our business, Joshi Tours & Travels, is located at D 27/10 in Panday Haweli. We are right near Bangoli Tola Inter College, which is a very old and famous part of Varanasi. Being in Panday Haweli means we are close to the river and all the narrow, winding lanes of the old city. It’s a place where cars can barely fit sometimes. Our office is small and simple, just a place for us to sit and manage our bookings. We don't have a big corporate team or any marketing people. It’s a family business, and we’ve been here for quite some time. Most of our customers are people who are staying in the guesthouses around the ghats. They find us because they are walking by and see our sign. We spend a lot of time talking to travelers from all over, helping them book a car or a ticket. We don't have a polished way of speaking; we just tell people what the reality of traveling in Kashi is like. It’s dusty and loud and crowded, but it’s also beautiful. We don't make big promises. We just try to get a driver who shows up when you need one. Some days are long and we are still here late at night, and other days are quiet enough to just watch the world go by from our doorway. It’s an honest way to make a living in this old city and we enjoy it.
