Jai Ambey Social Action Foundation

We started Jai Ambey Social Action Foundation right here in Sarnath. Our office is on Ubi Road, just a bit away from the Durga Mata Mandir in Sarai Muhana. Most people around here know where that is. We spend our days dealing with different social tasks and helping out where it is needed in the Varanasi area. It is not a big fancy operation, just a group of us working out of this spot. The building isn't much to look at but it gets the job done. Sometimes it gets busy with people coming in to talk about local issues or asking for help with paperwork and things like that. We have been in this part of Sarnath for a while now. The weather gets really hot in the summer, so we usually try to get the heavy work done early in the morning before the sun gets too high. Being near the temple means there is always a bit of a crowd and some noise, but we are used to it by now. We just keep our heads down and handle the foundation work. If you are walking down Ubi Road, you will see our sign. It is a quiet enough street most days except for the festival times. We don't have a big staff, just a few local folks who care about what happens in our neighborhood. It’s just how we do things here in 221007. We are just part of the local fabric here and we try to do what we can.
