Jahanvi Tours & Travels

We are right on the Main Road in Cantonment, very close to Hotel Surya. It’s a busy spot, so we see a lot of people passing by every single day on their way to the station or the market. The traffic never really stops here, and the sound of horns is just something we’ve learned to ignore while we work at our desks. Jahanvi Tours & Travels is run from a small room that’s basically full of maps and old logbooks that we use to track our trips. We spend most of our time talking to people who stop in because they saw our sign while walking to the nearby hotel. We don’t have a website that’s updated every day with fancy pictures. We prefer to talk to people face to face or over the phone. It feels more real and honest that way. We arrange cars for all sorts of things, whether it's a trip to the river for the evening aarti or a drive to the airport. The office gets a bit hot in the afternoons during the summer, but we have a small fan that helps a little bit. We’ve been here for years, and we know most of the other shop owners around us. We don't try to sound like a big firm because we aren't one. We’re just a local business helping people get around Varanasi. It’s a lot of work but it keeps us busy.
