We are over in Premchandra Nagar Colony, specifically E 8/19. It’s a quiet spot compared to the main ghats, which is nice when the city gets too loud. My desk is usually covered in papers and receipts because we keep things manual mostly. The Chowra Mai Mandir is just a short walk away, and you can hear the bells sometimes in the mornings during the aarti. We started this because we know the roads around Varanasi better than most people who just moved here. It gets dusty here in Pendeypur, but that’s just how things are. Usually, we are just sitting here answering the phone or talking to drivers about where they need to go next. Sometimes the internet is slow, so we just wait for it to come back. We handle cars and local trips for whoever needs them. If you come by, you might see the neighbors' kids playing out front in the street. It’s not a fancy office with big glass windows or anything like that. Just some plastic chairs and a fan that makes a bit of noise when it’s on high speed. Most days are busy with bookings for Sarnath or just airport drops. We don't do much talking, just get the work done. The heat in June is tough, but we manage with cold water from a clay pot we keep in the corner. It feels good to be working in this part of town at Ihs Tours & Travels. People know us here.
