Home Art

Our shop, Home Art, is located near the DLW Paschimi Gate in Varanasi. We are very close to the DLW Cinema Hall, so the area gets really crowded in the evenings when a movie is playing. It is a lively part of town. Our place is where we keep all the items we sell for houses, like frames and decorative pieces. It is a small shop, and we have tried to use every inch of the walls to display what we have. It can look a bit cluttered, but that is just because we have so many different things to show. We have been in this spot for several years now. Varanasi is a city that never really stops, and our street is no different. We spend our days talking to people who walk in from the cinema or the nearby market. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing team. We just open the shop every morning, sweep the front, and wait for customers. Sometimes we sit outside on a stool when it’s not too hot and talk to the other shopkeepers. It is a simple way to run a business. We know our regulars and their families. The shop is more than just a business to us; it is where we spend most of our time. It’s a bit dusty and the lights are sometimes dim, but it’s our space.
