Girenlend Farmer Producer Company Limited

Our little group is called Girenlend Farmer Producer Company Limited, and we operate out of Satendra Singh's place over in Mathanajaitipur. It's a typical village setup where the house and the farm work all kind of blend into one another. We don't have a receptionist or anything like that. If you come by, you'll probably find Satendra or one of the other members fixing a fence or checking on the animals. We decided to come together as a company because it felt like the only way to get a fair shake. Farming on your own is getting harder every year with the prices of everything going up. We mostly deal with what we can grow right here in the local soil. It’s honest work, even if it’s backbreaking most of the time. We don't have a lot of big machines, so we rely a lot on each other's hands. The paperwork side of things is a bit of a headache for us, to be honest. We’d much rather be out in the sun than sitting inside with a pen and a stack of forms. But we know it’s necessary to keep things moving. We just want to be able to sell our produce for a price that reflects the sweat we put into it. It’s not a complicated plan, just a group of farmers trying to stay afloat and look after their families in Mathanajaitipur.
