Get On Call Tour And Travel is located right in the Assi area, very close to Kashi Caffe. If you've been to Assi, you know it's a place where everyone hangs out. We decided to set up shop here because it's where all the action is. Our office isn't much to look at, just a functional space where we handle phone calls and walk-in customers. We named it Get On Call because that is how we do most of our business. People just ring us up and ask for a taxi or a flight booking. But we also have people coming in after they finish their breakfast at the cafe nearby. We handle all sorts of travel needs, from local sightseeing to longer trips out of the city. It's a small team here, just a couple of us who know the city well. We don't have a corporate structure or big bosses. We just manage the daily bookings as they come. Sometimes it gets a bit hectic when several groups want a car at the same time. We do our best to coordinate with the drivers we know. It is a very informal atmosphere in the office. We usually have the radio on and there’s always a cup of tea around somewhere. We aren't trying to be a global agency, just a handy place in Assi for people to get their travel sorted quickly. We spend our days mostly on the phone or looking at booking screens.
