Devadarshan Agro Farmers Producer Company Limited operates out of Pilibhit, specifically in the Jithania area of Harraypur. We are based at Kaikai Devi’s place in Amaria. It is a typical rural spot where everyone knows everyone else’s business. We aren't a big corporation from the city. We are just locals who grew up with the smell of wet earth and the sound of tractors. Pilibhit has good land, but farming is never as easy as people think. We put this company together to help each other out with the logistics of farming. It is mostly about getting the right supplies and finding a place for the harvest. Jithania is a small village, and we like it that way. When we meet, it’s usually on a porch or in a small room at the address. We don’t have fancy brochures or a website. If you want to know what we are doing, you just have to look at the fields around Amaria. There is a lot of back and forth between the members about which crops are doing well and which ones aren't. We just try to keep our heads down and work. It’s a group effort, and everyone puts in their bit to keep things running. That is how we have always done things here, by helping each other when the work gets to be too much for one person.
