Chamber Of Agriculture & Fpo India Council is located over in Varanasi. Our address is B2 1001 Tridevdham, near Samneghat in the Lanka area. It is a nice part of the city, not too far from the river. Our office is on the 10th floor, so we actually have a bit of a view of the surrounding neighborhood. We work with different farmer producer organizations and try to keep everyone connected. It is more of a council or a gathering place for information than a traditional company. The room is usually filled with papers and maps of different farming districts in Uttar Pradesh. We have people coming in from all over Varanasi and even further out to talk about how their FPOs are doing. It is not a very formal environment. We sit around, have some chai, and go through the latest government rules or market trends that might affect the farmers. The building, Tridevdham, is pretty well known in Samneghat, so we are easy to find. We don't have a huge team, just a few dedicated people who know about agriculture and want to help the local groups stay organized. Most of the time, we are just busy responding to letters or helping people fill out forms. It is honest work and we enjoy being part of the community here in Varanasi.
