Running Bhargavagri Krishak Producer Company Limited takes up most of our time here in Harakhpur. We are located at Ravee Kumar’s place in Harakhpur Tikareekunda Mandhata. It’s a quiet enough area most days, but it gets loud when the harvest season starts. We aren't some big city corporation with glass walls. It’s mostly just us sitting around a table getting the numbers right and talking to the local folks. Ravee keeps things organized enough so we don't lose our heads. The road to get here can be a bit bumpy depending on the season, but everyone knows the way. We handle a lot of the farmer producer stuff that comes through this part of the district. It’s a lot of back and forth, making sure everyone is on the same page. Sometimes the paperwork piles up on the desk and it takes a few days to clear it all out. We drink a lot of tea while we work. It’s a simple setup we have here in Mandhata. We don’t spend money on fancy signs or advertising because everyone knows who we are anyway. The work is hard and the hours are long when things are busy. We just try to stay honest with the people we deal with and get the work finished before the sun goes down. It's just a regular local business trying to stay afloat and help out the community. There are usually a few dogs sleeping near the entrance, but they don't bother anyone much.
