Our shop is on Bhelupura Road, right near the Ip Vijay Mall. It is a good spot because people are always coming and going for shopping or movies. We do a mix of things here, mostly travel bookings and some communication work. It’s a small room filled with computers and a couple of printers that sometimes act up. People come in to recharge their phones or ask about a taxi to the airport. It isn't a high-end lounge. We have a few plastic chairs for people to sit while they wait for their tickets to print. The traffic noise from the main road is always there in the background. We’ve been at this B23/12 address for a good bit now. Sometimes it gets crowded when three or four people walk in at once, but we manage. We don't use any fancy talk or marketing tricks. We just tell people the price and the time. It’s honest work. Often, we are helping someone send a fax or scan some documents because they don't have the machines at home. It’s a bit of everything for the local community. The mall nearby brings in a lot of foot traffic, so we stay busy through the afternoon. We drink a lot of chai and keep the registers moving. It’s just a regular local business trying to be helpful to the neighborhood.
