Anurag Travel Services has been around Assi for a while now. The office is at B-1/89-1K on Lanka Road. People know this area well because it is always busy. We handle travel stuff for folks coming through Varanasi. It is not a big fancy place, just a regular desk and chairs in a small room. Lanka Road is always full of traffic and students from BHU nearby. We see a lot of people walking past every day. If you are near Assi Ghat, you have probably passed our door. We have stayed in this same spot, B-1/89-1K, for quite a few years. Most of our work is just booking tickets or helping people figure out where to go next. Sometimes the internet is slow or the power goes out, but we get the work done. It is just a small team of us here. We do not have a big sign or anything, just the name Anurag Travel Services on the glass. It is an old building, which is typical for this part of Varanasi. Being near Lanka Road means there is always noise from the rickshaws outside. We are used to it by now. The 221005 area is quite famous around here. People stop by to ask directions often and we just help out where we can. It is a simple setup for trains, cars, and buses. You can find us easily if you know where the Assi area starts.
