Rudra Metals

Rudra Metals is located at Plot No. 303-9 on the Phase-2, C Type Road. The 'C Type' roads are pretty easy to find once you get into the GIDC, and our plot is right in the middle of a row of similar businesses. We deal with metals, so there is a lot of heavy lifting and moving stuff around with the forklift. The yard is almost always full of stacks of material, and we have to be careful how we organize it so we can actually get the trucks in and out. It’s a straightforward business. We don't have any fancy mission statements or corporate values posted on the walls; we just have a calendar and a list of things that need to get done by Friday. The staff here is mostly local guys who have been doing this kind of work since they were young. We know the sounds of the machines and can tell if something is wrong just by listening. It gets loud, especially when we are cutting or loading the heavy sheets, but you get used to it after a while. We keep a small kettle in the corner for tea, and that’s about as fancy as our break room gets. We’ve been at this location for years and have no plans to change anything. We just want to keep the shop running and make sure our customers get what they ordered.
