You can find V F & D B Tandel Sarvajanik High School over in Mahadev Faliya. We are tucked away in Dungri, which is a nice part of Valsad. The school has been standing here for a good while, serving the local families. It is a high school, so the students are a bit older and more energetic. We have a few buildings and a yard where the kids hang out between classes. It is not some high-tech campus. It is just a regular school where people work hard. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but that doesn't stop the teaching from happening. On rainy days, the ground gets a bit muddy, but we manage. Most of the staff here have been around for a decade or more. We know the parents and we know the local shops. It is a tight-knit community in Dungri. We don't put on airs or use a lot of corporate talk. We just tell the students to show up on time and do their work. Sometimes we have small events or sports matches in the yard, and it gets quite loud and fun. Other times, it is just the sound of someone reading aloud from a textbook. We take things one day at a time. If someone needs help with an application or a certificate, they just come to the office and ask. We are just here to help the kids in our part of Valsad get through their high school years.
