Faldhara Madhyamik Shala

Faldhara Madhyamik Shala is located in Valsad, right in the heart of the community. It’s a secondary school where we try to keep things grounded and sensible. Valsad is a nice place to live, and the school reflects that local feel. We don't have a massive marketing budget or a team of people writing fancy slogans. It’s just us—the teachers and the staff—making sure the school runs every day. The building is older, with some character in the walls and floors. We have the usual subjects and the usual exams that every school in Gujarat follows. During the monsoon, the rain can be quite heavy here, so we spend a lot of time making sure the roofs don't leak and the kids stay dry. It’s a lot of small tasks that keep a place like this going. The students are generally good kids from the surrounding neighborhoods. They know the rules and they mostly follow them. We aren't trying to compete with the big private schools in the cities. We just want to provide a steady place for learning in our own town. If you walk past during the day, you'll hear the murmur of classes and maybe some shouting from the sports field. That’s the sound of Faldhara Madhyamik Shala. It's nothing more and nothing less than a local school for our kids. We just show up and do the work that needs doing, year after year.
