Dmd Ghaswala Municipal High School is located on Valsad Bechar Road. You can find us right in the heart of Valsad at the 396001 location. Being a municipal school, we see all kinds of people coming through our doors every single day. The building itself has been standing for a long time, and you can tell by looking at the stone and the way the stairs have worn down in the middle from all the feet walking up and down. We have a lot of students who come from the local neighborhoods nearby. The mornings are usually the busiest time because that is when everyone is trying to get into their classrooms before the whistle blows. We have a small yard, but it isn't very green, mostly just packed dirt where the kids run around during their free time. The office is small and usually filled with stacks of papers and old registers that we have to keep track of. Sometimes the roof leaks a little bit during the heavy monsoon rains, so we have to move the desks around to keep the books dry. It isn't a perfect setup, but it works for us and the families who rely on this school. We focus on the daily lessons and making sure the students have a place to sit and learn. It is a very ordinary school for very ordinary people. Our gates are always open a little early for those who need to drop their kids off before work starts in the town.
