Our facility is located at Plot No. 131/1, right near the Umbergaon Sanjan Road in the GIDC area. Being in Umbergaon means we are right in the middle of a lot of industrial activity. The road outside stays busy with trucks and trailers moving goods back and forth all day. Our plot is quite large because we need the space for the pipes and tubes we handle. It’s a dusty environment, especially when the trucks pull in, but that’s just part of being in GIDC. We have a small office near the main gate where we handle the gate passes and the administrative stuff. Inside the main shed, it’s all business. There’s the smell of metal and the sound of heavy machinery. It can be quite loud when everything is running at once, so we often have to shout to be heard. We don’t have any fancy landscaping or a polished lobby for guests. Most people who come here are drivers or vendors who are used to the industrial setting. We take our work seriously and spend most of our time ensuring everything is moving according to the schedule. It’s hard work and the days can be long, but we’ve got a good group of people here who know the ropes. We’ve been at this Umbergaon location for a while now and it’s become a second home for most of us. We just keep things moving.
