Rushi Industries

The shop is located at No- 64/1-2 on Ujeti Road, out towards Baska. It’s an industrial area, so there’s always some kind of noise or truck moving nearby. We set up Rushi Industries to handle some basic manufacturing and part work. It’s not a large factory by any means. We have some lathes and some welding equipment that have seen a lot of use over the years. The floor is concrete and always has a bit of metal shavings on it no matter how much we sweep. We open the big doors early in the morning to let the breeze in because it gets quite stuffy inside once the machines start running. There’s a small room in the corner where we keep the ledger and take phone calls. Most of our guys live nearby and they walk or bike to work. We don't have a big HR department or anything like that. If there’s a problem, we just talk about it over lunch. We handle a lot of small orders for other businesses around Baska. Sometimes things get delayed because a machine needs a part, but we fix it ourselves and get back to it. It’s a gritty job and we don't wear suits. We wear overalls that are stained with oil. That’s just the way it is at Rushi Industries. We do the work and try to stay out of trouble.
