St Marys English High School

This is St Marys English High School located in Ram Nagar. We have been in Valsad for a while now. The 396020 area is where we operate from. It is a busy spot on most days. Our school has a lot of history with the local people here. We teach in English because that is what most parents ask for these days. Every day starts quite early for us. The buses arrive and the street gets crowded with parents on scooters. We have a simple setup here. The classrooms have the usual blackboards and wooden benches. We don't spend much on decorations or fancy signs. It's more about the lessons and the students sitting in the rooms. Some of our staff live nearby, so they just walk to work every morning. We know the shopkeepers on the corner and the families who live across the street. Sometimes the power goes out and we just open the windows a bit wider to let the breeze in. It gets very hot in the afternoons during the summer months. We make sure the water coolers are always full and working. That is a big priority for us. Managing a high school takes a lot of daily energy. There is always a pile of notebooks to grade or a meeting to sit through. We don't try to be something we aren't. We are just a school in Ram Nagar trying to do right by the kids.
