We've been here in Atgam for a long time now. People around Valsad know where we are. It is just a school where kids come to learn their subjects and spend their days. The building isn't brand new, but it works for what we need. Teachers here live nearby or commute from the town area. Mornings are usually busy with students arriving on cycles or walking through the gates. We have the usual classrooms and a bit of space outside for the children to run around during their breaks. It gets quite hot in the afternoons, especially in the summer months, but that's just how it is in this part of Gujarat. We don't have fancy gadgets in every room, but we try to keep the benches in good shape. Most of the families who send their children here are local folks from the surrounding villages. They know us and we know them. It's a simple setup. We focus on getting through the syllabus and making sure everyone is safe while they are on the premises. There is a lot of noise during the lunch hour, which is normal for any school with so many young people. We just keep things running day to day without much fuss. If you walk past the school, you’ll likely hear someone reading out loud or the bell ringing for the next period. It’s just a regular place for education in our small corner of the world.
