Shri Vivekanand High School

We are located at 2, Manekpore in Valsad. Shri Vivekanand High School is just a simple building that serves the local people around here. It is not one of those big, shiny schools you see in the cities. We have a small gate and a bit of a yard where the students hang out during their lunch break. The road outside can get a bit noisy with the local traffic, but once you are inside the classrooms, it is mostly just the sound of teachers talking and the occasional bird. Valsad has its own rhythm, and we are part of it. The desks are a bit old and some of the chairs wobble, but they do the job. We don’t have a big office or a reception desk with a smiling person waiting. Usually, if you need something, you just find one of us in the hallway or the staffroom. The walls have been painted a few times, but the humidity here makes the paint peel after a while. Most of the kids walk or come on bicycles. We see them every morning, and we see them leave in the afternoon when the bell rings. It’s a very normal life we lead here. We don't have a lot of extra stuff, so we make do with what we have on hand. It is a bit messy sometimes, but that is how it is. We just try to get through the lessons and help the students as much as we are able.
