Shri Navchetan Sarvajanik High School

You can find Shri Navchetan Sarvajanik High School out in Ambheti. It is part of the Kaparada taluka here in Valsad. Being a high school, we see a lot of teenagers from the village and the nearby areas. The location is pretty quiet, sitting at the post office area of Ambheti. We have a basic building where the kids come to study their subjects. It’s a regular sarvajanik school, so it belongs to the public in a way. We have a lot of students who come from farming families. The days start early here. You can see the groups of kids walking along the road to get to class on time. We don't have any of those big city school facilities. It’s mostly just classrooms and a playground that gets a bit dusty in the summer. The teachers live nearby and they know the parents well. We talk about grades and how the kids are doing when we see people at the market. It’s that kind of place. The school has been standing for a long time. Some of the parents were students here themselves back in the day. We just try to keep the roof in good shape and the lessons going. It’s a straightforward school for the local community. Not much else to say about it. We are just here doing our bit for the kids in Kaparada.
