Shri M K Mehta High School is situated right in the middle of the Umbergaon Industrial Estate in Valsad. It might seem like an odd place for a school, being surrounded by factories and workshops, but it actually works well for the families who live and work in this area. You can often hear the hum of machinery in the distance during classes, but we have all gotten used to it. The school itself is a practical building designed to hold a lot of students.
