Shramjivi Madhyamik Shala

You will find our school at 1 Tithal Road in Valsad. It’s a good spot because we are fairly close to the coast and the air feels a bit different here. The school building is quite plain and has been there for a long time. There is no elevator, so we spend a lot of time walking up and down the stairs to get to different classes. The hallways are a bit narrow and the paint is peeling in some of the corners. We have a lot of students from the surrounding neighborhoods who walk to school every morning. The classrooms are filled with old wooden desks that have seen a lot of use over the years. We don't have any high-tech gadgets or modern labs. We mostly stick to the textbooks and the lectures. The teachers meet in a small room during the break to have some tea and talk about how the classes are going. It’s a very straightforward and practical place to work. We don't have a lot of extra money for decorations or big events, so we just focus on the teaching. During the rainy season, the sound of the water on the roof is very loud, but we just talk a bit louder to be heard. It’s a humble school that has been part of Valsad for a long time. We just do our jobs and try to help the students learn.
