Sheth Rjj High School

Sheth Rjj High School is situated on Tithal Road in Valsad. Being on Tithal Road means there is always something going on outside, with cars and rickshaws constantly passing by. The school itself has a very traditional look, with thick walls and high ceilings that help keep things cool when the sun is out. We have a large gate that we lock after the first bell rings. Inside, the courtyard is where everything happens—from morning assembly to the kids eating their tiffin. The benches are made of heavy wood and have been there for decades, probably. You can see where students have carved their names over the years. We have a small office near the entrance where parents come to pay fees or ask questions. The teachers here have been around for a long time, and some of them actually went to this school themselves back in the day. It’s a bit of a maze inside with the different wings and staircases. We don’t have fancy air conditioning or anything like that, just big fans that hum all day. In the rainy season, the sound of the rain on the roof is so loud you have to shout to be heard. It’s just a regular high school in Valsad where we try to keep things running smoothly and make sure the students stay on track with their studies.
