Harsh Industries

Harsh Industries is located at 10, Madhuban Indl. Estate, which is a place we have called home for quite some time. The estate is a bit older, so the buildings have that worn-in look, but they are sturdy enough for what we do. Our unit is number ten, and it is usually packed with materials and tools from wall to wall. It can feel a bit crowded when we have a lot of work going on, but we have a system that works for us. There is always someone working on something, so the sound of hammers or drills is pretty much the background music of our lives. We don't have a dedicated receptionist or anything like that. If someone walks in, whoever is closest to the door just stops what they are doing to see what is needed. It is a very informal way of doing things, but it feels right for a small place like ours. We deal with the typical problems of an industrial estate, like the narrow lanes getting blocked by delivery trucks or the heat building up in the summer months. We just take it as it comes. There is a lot of satisfaction in seeing a job through from start to finish, even if the environment is a bit rough around the edges. We are just regular people making a living in a workshop. It’s not about getting famous, just about doing a decent turn for our customers and paying the bills. Every evening we lock up and do it all over again tomorrow.
