We are based at Plot No. 320/8 in the 40 Shed Area of GIDC in Vapi, Gujarat. If you’ve ever been to Vapi, you know it’s a town that’s all about industry. Our shed is just one of many in this section. Working with glassfibre can be a bit itchy and messy, so we’re always dressed in our work clothes and don't worry much about how we look. The shop floor is where everything happens. We don’t have a separate office building; it’s just a partitioned area in the corner of the shed where we keep the books and the phone. It’s often humid here, and the air feels heavy, but we’ve got a good group of people who don't complain much. We just get on with the task at hand. We don't have a big mission statement on the wall. Our goal is just to get the reinforcements made and loaded onto the trucks without any trouble. We have our regulars who come by for their orders, and we usually have a quick chat and a cup of tea before they head out. It’s a simple business. We aren't trying to change the world; we’re just trying to provide for our families and keep the shop running for another year. It’s honest work, and that’s enough for us. We just take it one day at a time here in the shed.
