R S Patel Vidhyalay Madh Sha

Our school, R S Patel Vidhyalay Madh Sha, sits right at the Bilpudi Road Char Rasta in Dharampur. Being at a crossroads means there is always something going on outside. It’s a very recognizable spot for anyone living in this part of Valsad. The school itself is a simple place. We have a main gate that stays open during the day and a small area where teachers park their scooters. The building is a bit older, and the paint is peeling in some spots, but it serves us well. Inside, the classrooms are filled with the sound of teachers talking and the scratching of pens. We have these big registers for attendance that the teachers carry around, and they’re starting to look a bit tattered by the end of the term. The students come from all around the Taluka, and some of them have a long walk to get here. We don't have any of those modern smart boards; we still use regular blackboards and white chalk. It gets a bit messy, but it works fine for us. During the breaks, the kids hang out near the entrance or in the small corridors. The office is small and usually has a few people waiting to speak with the principal about one thing or another. It’s a straightforward, local school where the focus is just on getting through the lessons every day. It’s nothing fancy, just a part of the daily life here at the Char Rasta.
