Manav Metals

We are out in the GIDC area at C-1/2222. It is a typical industrial plot where we do a lot of work with different types of metals. The atmosphere is pretty heavy with the smell of grease and the sound of heavy machinery. It is not the kind of place where you would want to wear your best clothes because everything ends up with a bit of soot or metal dust on it. We spend our days moving heavy loads and processing materials. It is physically demanding work and we are usually pretty tired by the end of the shift. The GIDC estate is a bit like a maze with all the different units, but we have been at this plot for a while so we are easy to spot if you know the number. We don't have a proper office with air conditioning; we just have a small corner with a desk and a fan where we handle the bills. Most of the people working here at Manav Metals are tough guys who aren't afraid of getting their hands dirty. We just get on with the tasks at hand, whether it is loading a truck or sorting through scrap. It is a basic operation but it is what we know how to do best. There is no point in pretending we are a high-end firm; we are just a metal shop in an industrial zone. Some days are harder than others, but we just keep moving.
