Chandan Steel Ltd.

Chandan Steel Ltd. is situated at Plot No. 31 in the GIDC area, also covering Survey No. 102/2 and 103/2 in Village Dehri. This is right in the heart of the Valsad District industrial zone. Being in a GIDC estate means it is always loud with the sounds of factories and large vehicles. We have quite a bit of space across these different plots and survey numbers to manage our steel operations. Most of our workers live nearby in Dehri or come in from other parts of Valsad. It is a dusty environment, and the smell of industrial work is always in the air. We spend a lot of time checking the inventory and making sure the trucks are loaded correctly before they head out on the highway. It is not the kind of place where you wear a suit. We are usually in our work clothes, covered in a bit of grease or grime by the end of the shift. The weather here can get very humid, making the work in the yard quite tiring during the monsoon and summer. We have a routine that we follow every single day to keep things running. It is about getting the steel where it needs to go without too much fuss. We are just a group of people working in a factory setting, trying to keep up with the demands of the trade. Sometimes we have to stay late to finish the paperwork or count the inventory.
