Chandan Steel

This branch of Chandan Steel is located right behind the Primary Boys School in Umbergaon Town. It’s a very local spot. You can often hear the kids playing during their breaks. We’ve been at this location for a while now. It’s a straightforward setup. We have the warehouse space where we keep all the steel supplies. It’s not a polished showroom. It’s a working yard. Most of the time, we are busy loading or unloading trucks. The dust and the noise are just part of the job. We don't have a big staff here, just a few of us who know the inventory well. Being behind the school makes it easy for locals to give directions to our place. We don't use any fancy language to describe what we do. We sell steel and we make sure it gets to where it needs to go. Sometimes the paperwork gets a little messy, but the physical work is always on track. We prefer it this way. It’s a honest way to earn a living without all the corporate drama. We’ve known the families in this part of town for years. It’s a tight-knit place and we like being part of it. If the gate is closed, just give a shout and someone will come out. We don't have a fancy buzzer system or anything like that. Just real work and real people.
