Our shop is down in the GIDC Industrial Estate in Umargam, at the C- 1- 3 spot. It’s a big area, and we have a decent amount of space to work with, which is good because the mechanical parts we deal with aren't exactly small. We have been in Umargam for a long time now. The sea air sometimes makes the metal rust a bit faster if we aren't careful, so we are always keeping an eye on things and keeping everything oiled up. It’s a straightforward engineering setup. We have lathes, drills, and all the usual stuff you’d find in a place that makes auto parts or handles mechanical repairs. We aren't the kind of company that puts out glossy brochures or spends a lot of time on social media. Usually, we are just in the back with the machines, making sure the specs are right. The guys wear overalls that have seen better days, and there is usually a pot of tea going somewhere in the corner. We just handle the engineering work that comes our way. Sometimes a machine breaks down and we have to spend half the night fixing it ourselves so we don't fall behind, but that is part of the life here. We just keep our heads down and get the metalwork finished for the customers who depend on us every week.
