Champaneri Engineers & Fabricators

We set up our shop at Plot No 726 in the second phase of the New GIDC in Gundlav. Fabrication is what we know best, so the place is full of welding machines, cutters, and piles of metal. Champaneri is the name on the door, and it’s a family-run kind of thing. The noise in the GIDC is pretty much constant from morning until evening. You can hear the hammers and the saws from all the neighboring plots. We don't have a big office with air conditioning; we’re mostly out on the shop floor where the work happens. It’s a lot of sweat and heavy lifting, especially during the summer months when the metal gets hot. We’ve been in Gundlav for quite a while and have seen the area grow. We don't use any fancy language to describe what we do. If someone needs a frame built or some parts welded, they tell us and we get to it. There’s no big marketing team here, just a bunch of guys who know how to handle a torch. Sometimes we make mistakes and have to start over, but that’s just part of the job. We show up, put on our gear, and work until the orders are finished. It’s a straightforward life and we’re okay with that. It is just the way it goes here.
