Our honey company is located in Hajipur right near the SP Kothi and under the Kila area. We are on the ground floor at 194A SDO Road. It is a good spot because people can find us easily when they are coming through town. We deal with the honey that comes from the local beehives around the district. The office usually smells a bit like wax and honey which isn't a bad thing. We aren't a big factory or anything. We just take the honey from the producers and get it ready to be sold. It's a small team here and we do everything ourselves from cleaning the jars to sticking on the labels. The ground floor office is often crowded with containers and boxes. We don't have a receptionist or a waiting room. If you come in you just talk to whoever is standing there. It’s a bit of a mess sometimes but we know where everything is. Being near the Kila means we get a lot of local foot traffic. We don't do any big advertisements on TV or in the newspapers. Most people just know us because they’ve been buying from us for a while. We try to keep the honey as natural as it comes from the hive. It is a sticky job but it's what we do here in Hajipur. We hope to stay here for many more years because the people are friendly.
