We are Jago Gaon Farmers Producer Company Limited. You can find us at Vill-Damodarpur, specifically in Tola-Ward-06. This is part of Panchdamodar Pur in the Bhagwanpur block. We are just a group of people from the village who decided to pool our resources together. Most of us have been farming this land for as long as we can remember. It is not an easy life, but it is what we know. We spend our days out in the fields, dealing with the sun and the unpredictable rain. We started this company because it was getting harder to handle everything as individuals. Now, we meet up in a small room in the village to talk about our crops and how to get them to the market. We don't have any fancy office equipment or a big team of managers. It is just us, the farmers. We talk about seeds and how the soil is doing this year. Sometimes we have good harvests and sometimes the weather ruins things, but we keep going. We are part of the local community here in Bhagwanpur. We know our neighbors and we try to help each other out when things get tough. There is no corporate ladder here, just hard work and hoping for a decent price for our produce. We are just trying to make a honest living from the land we live on. That is really all there is to it.
