Bidupur Pragati Farmer Producer Company Limited

Our group, Bidupur Pragati Farmer Producer Company Limited, operates through the Vaishali Swyamsidha Mahila Vikashswavlambi Sahakari Samiti here in the Bidupur block. We are a collection of farmers from the local area who wanted to find a better way to handle our produce and support our families. Working alongside the women's cooperative has given us a good place to start and a sense of community. We spend our time dealing with the usual farming challenges like seeds, weather, and finding buyers for what we grow. It is a very hands-on job, and most of us are out in the fields for most of the day. We don't have fancy marketing or a polished image; we are just people who know the soil of Bidupur. The name Pragati means progress, and that’s what we are aiming for in a very simple, everyday way. We want to make sure the work we put in actually pays off at the end of the season. Our setup is humble, based right in the heart of the block where we can stay in touch with all the members. There is a lot of paperwork and coordination involved in running a producer company, but we manage it together. It isn’t always easy balancing the farming with the business side, but we keep at it. We are just a local team trying to make things work for our community and neighbors. There is no secret to it, just hard work and staying together.
