Vmf Soft Tech Ltd. is tucked away in Vidyavihar Society over on New Sama Road. Being in a residential society means it is a bit quieter than being right on the main commercial strip of Vadodara. You get the sound of kids playing or someone's dog barking every now and then, which is a nice change from just hearing traffic all day. We have our setup in B/6, and it is a lot of screens and keyboards clicking from morning till night. The office layout is a bit cramped because we keep adding more equipment as the years go by. We spend a lot of time staring at monitors, so the break room is a big deal for us. We keep a lot of old manuals on the shelves that nobody really looks at anymore, but they have been there so long they feel like part of the furniture. The internet goes slow sometimes, and we all groan together until it kicks back in. It is a very local way of working, where everyone knows everyone else's business. We do not have a big reception desk or a lobby. You just walk in and you are pretty much in the middle of everything. It is practical and it works for us. We have been at this address for a good while, so even the postman doesn't have to look at the number anymore. We just order food and keep working.
