Techno Point

If you look for Plot No. Ff-340-b-13 in the GIDC Ind. Estate, you’ll find us at Techno Point. We aren’t a huge operation, just a small spot where we look at tech problems and try to find solutions. The space is a bit narrow, so we have shelves going all the way up to the ceiling. They are mostly filled with old parts, cables, and boxes of hardware we might need someday. It’s a bit of a mess to an outsider, but I know exactly where everything is. Mostly. Sometimes the floor gets covered in cardboard when a new shipment comes in and we have to step over it for a day or two. We spend a lot of time staring at screens and tinkering with small components. It’s quiet work compared to the heavy engineering shops down the road. You can hear the hum of the computers and the sound of the traffic outside. We don’t really do fancy ads or have a shiny storefront. People just find us through word of mouth or because they work nearby and their printer broke. We have a small kettle in the back for making tea, which we drink way too much of. It’s a steady life, figuring out why things aren't working and getting them back in order. We’ve been here long enough that the walls need a new coat of paint, but we’re usually too busy with repairs to get around to it.
